Just pulled some photos off of the camera from the trip, and I thought I would share them.

Got to hang out with Andy & Nikki a bit. They’re good people – I’m glad that life worked out the way it did.

Andy & Nikki

Visited the Pabst Mansion with jon’s family. Camera’s weren’t allowed inside, though I wish I could have taken some pictures! At Christmas time, they have local florists and horticulturists decorate each room for the holidays. The result is a lot of different interpretations of Christmas decorations. Pretty neat.

Jon and Eric

Jon and I brought home a bottle of Pinot Noir from one of our Elk Cove shipments. One of the best things about having great wine is sharing it with people that really appreciate. So you know, that was cool. Here are a few pictures from that night at John and Bree’s…

Thanksgiving ’08

Just found a few pictures on the camera from last Thankgiving, at Jim’s (pictured below).

It’s jon… rubbing butter BELOW the turkey’s skin.  Boy, I tell you this was worth the hassle.

And also, I really like the food porn shots. So here’s some flour. Yes. I’m really posting a picture of flour.

Home. At last.

Well, after a couple hours of being delayed in the lovely Twin Cities, we finally made it home.  Back to full time Internet, bars in walking distance and familiar smells.  I like home.

It’s 9pm and my body thinks it’s more like 11, which under normal circumstances means that I would take a shower, curl up in some pajamas and it the pillows.  Luckily for me, it’s new years eve.

So. Wish me luck at staying up that late.  I’m notorious for being in bed by 8:45.
