I found a new obsession. It’s so awesome and stainless steel… I just need to stop eating out enough to save up for it.  :)

A Neighborhood Bakery Truck

Instead of painted lines in the middle of the street, sometimes the streets here have little raised blocks with reflective lights on them.

As I’m walking down the street, nose in a book, I noticed a truck sitting outside of the park near my house.  The truck, it seemed, had fresh bakery inside.  Wheat bread, sliced bread, loafs, rolls, etc. This is so exciting to me, I can only explain it by telling you that i TRIPPED over the little raised block in the middle of the street.  Quickly dusting myself off, i looked back to the bakery truck.  Bread varieties aren’t really… available here.  You can have white, thick slices or you can have 75 different types of noodles.  “I should….” ooof.  I tripped AGAIN over ANOTHER little raised block in the street.  omg.

Yes. Even *I* am embarrassed by this point.  So I put my book under my arm and run back (through traffic) across the street to the truck.

So I buy some bread, you know?  And the guy asks me where I’m from (“Seattle… oh wait.  America!”)  he says “Ah, american. you fell over in the street just now, no?” hahahaha.  hah.

Then he told me (broken, broken engrish mind you) that he’s there on Mondays and Thursday.

omg.  on Mondays and Thursdays I can have fresh bread out of a truck.  I’m so happy… I could fall over! In the street!
