the picture at the end of this post is one of the coolest photos i have ever seen. if you were to, hypothetically, print one out for team davidson, that would be super rad.

@Daryn – Thanks for the linkage! I love how they’re talking about it like it’s some big new thing in the article, but the comments are all like “omg, *I* love kitkats too!”.

@Thomas – sometimes I check out that Flickr pool to see what flavour I just found. I think the first time I found it, i spent about 4 hours looking through (read: salivating over) all the different pictures / kinds.

Okay, okay. the bean paste treat wasn’t bad. It…has grown on me. It’s just that it’s in EVERYTHING! Things that wouldn’t necessarily be bad without beanpaste!

I think you’d get along fine here. Especially if you visited the south instead of Tokyo. Okinawa sounds like a very similar culture to Hawaii.

What’s wrong with bean paste?

I think too many of my friends have spent time in Japan. I’m getting to the point where I just know what certain Japanese words mean. When you mentioned onsen, I just knew what it was before I read your translation. That’s not a bad thing, but, you know, kind of weird.
